The Library conducts periodically the following user oriented professional activities:

MEMBERSHIP
The cards would be issued to students and research scholars on the receipt of the bonafide roll list of respective courses. Members should obtain a "Clearance Certificate" before the commencement of the Annual Examination or before leaving the University whichever is earlier.

BORROWING
The library cards are NON-TRANSFERABLE and should be kept under safe custody of the users. The members are responsible for the safety of the library material borrowed by them. The user is responsible for any loss that the library may suffer due to the misuse or loss of such card. The cards must not be handed over to any other users or outsiders.
The users should consult the library materials within the library premises. The borrowed materials should not be taken out of the station without the permission of the librarian.
Library can recall any issued book even before the due date.
Borrowers must satisfy themselves with the physical condition of the book before borrowing
OVERDUE CHARGES
Books taken on loan must be returned on or before the due date. Overdue charge would be levied on student's @Rs.2/- for General Books and Rs. 5/- for overnight Books per day per volume. For loss of library tickets, readers have to pay Rs. 50/- per ticket.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
General rules
Admission to the library is restricted to members only, who may have to show identity card at the entrance. The members must sign the register by entering the membership particulars.
Readers should observe strict silence inside the Library.
Use of mobile phones is not permitted inside the Library Building.
Members are responsible for books issued against their lost tickets.
Readers are not allowed to bring their personal books or any printed material inside the Library. The belongings like bags, umbrellas, etc. should be deposited with the Rack kept near the Entrance.
Readers are advised not to leave their precious and valuable items like money, passport, credit card etc. at the Property Counter.
Readers should not write in, mark, scratch and disfigure damage books or furniture of the Library.
Readers must take help from Library Staff/ Librarian for any problem they may face in the library. The students must maintain peaceful environment and discipline within and around library. Smoking and sleeping in the library is strictly prohibited. Any violation of conduct would be referred for disciplinary action.
