About the Journal

KLS's, Gogte Institute of Technology, Department of Managment Studies and Research, launced Prabhandan - Journal of Business Administration in December 2010 with an ISSN No: 2229-4791. The journal research papers are peer reviewed and published bi-annually by the department. The main objective of the journal is to develop strong academic research in the field of management studies

The journal covers original research papers, Case studies, Literature Reviews in the field of Marketing Management, Finance, Human resource management, Industrial marketing, organizational behavior, operational research, Total quality management etc,. The journal has laid down editorial policy for authentic academic research in the field of management studies.

Editorial Policy


1. Original research papers/ Case Studies/ Literature Reviews from the research scholars of all streams of management are accepted by the journal.
2. Each research paper undergoes blindfold peer review by two eminent scholars in the relevant field of management.
3. Copyright policy, piracy policy and plagiarism policy are strictly complied by the journal.

Author Guidelines

General

  • Manuscripts should be limited to 5,000 words, including references.
  • Include a summary of the paper to assist the Review Committee in their assessment.
  • Please ensure accuracy of all facts, including dates and correct spellings of peoples and organizations names. Review committee expectation from the Journal Paper
  • Is the paper relevant for more than one industry
  • Is the paper relevant in other countries
  • Does the paper offer something innovative or provide a new insight
  • Is the research of sufficient depth to back up the authors points
  • Would a practicing manager find the paper useful
  • How familiar is the author with the existing literature on this topic.

    Endnotes

    The journal will as a general rule not identify references by date and author's last name in parentheses in the text with a bibliography at the end of the research paper. Instead, we request the authors place in the text superscripted numbers that refer to a list of endnotes assembled at the end of the research paper. We also request that the following points are kept in mind:
  • Do not spell out the first name of authors in endnotes.
  • Do not italicize book or magazine titles. Enclose book titles in quotation marks.
  • Place within quotes and do not italicize magazine names. Examples of Endnotes
