Entrepreneurship Development Program Cell

  • This cell was established in the year 2009, the main objective of EDP Cell is to develop entrepreneurship skills amongst the students. The cell is collaborated with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) Ahmedabad.

    • One Year Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management (Through Open and Distance Learning)

  • This course id developed to Entrepreneur skills on large scale. This course is sponsored by Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung, a foundation of international repute from Germany and supported by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

    • Syllabus

  • The Syllabus prepares the learner with the knowledge skills and motivation to set up an enterprise and manage it successfully.

    • Methodology

  • The methodology of the course includes - Self Instruction study material, assignments, personal counseling through experts, professional counselors and two contact sessions during the course.

    • Duration of the program

  • The duration of the course is one year.

    • Eligibility

  • Degree/ Diploma holders in any discipline and those having passed HSC with three year work experience are eligible to join the course. As the basic objective of the course is to provide an in-depth insight into the subject of entrepreneurship to those who have a strong desire to set-p an enterprise.

    • Fees

  • Fees for this one year diploma course is Rs 10,000/- for all categories to be paid at the time of registration

    • Award of Diploma

  • The award of the Diploma is based on assessment of the assignments, project report submitted by the learner and performance in the final examination
