Session on Hacking

A session on hacking was organised by GIT on 28/09/2011, Mr Sandeep Patil SP, Belgaum was the chief guest, Shri M.R Kulkarni Chairman GC GIT was the president ,Internationally renowned independent Computer Digital intelligence consultant Mr. Ankit Fadia was the resource person. Dr. A.S Deshpande the principal GIT welcomed the gathering.

Mr. Sandeep Patil in his talks envisaged the importance of IT Era and also quoted the flip side of the same. Mr.Patil narrated live anecdotes in the field of investigation, burglary and others. He said at times the lacunas in finding out the culprit indulged in cyber crime lead to standstill positions.

He expressed the importance of hacking sessions by throwing light on the outcomes of it and said the session like these are the need of hour, further thanked the college authorities for having organized such an essential function.

Mr. Ankit Fadia the resource person of the function amazingly narrated live cases like manifesting live web cam, NASA's anti direction move of a spaceship. In his live demonstration he provided the insights by disseminating the ways to track IP address, email, protecting IP addresses he also exemplified benefits of hacking for better and constructive inputs.

He said he presence of proxy servers can be a way to rescue one's threat from getting noted as these server conceal the users identity .

Mr.Ankit Fadia also conveyed the below mentioned ways to track a criminal attempting to commit an offence. The potential threat of Trojans causing massive damage was demonstrated which goes fully undetectable.

The session received an overwhelming response with more than 400 delegates comprising of students, corporate leaders, Industrialists and teachers from all over Karnataka participating in it.
